I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families,
but especially the child within all. I have guided numerous clients through safe psychological passage as they have allowed
me to accompany them on their journey toward good mental health. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 8 years,
and I absolutely love my job. In fact, I am energized when I can aid someone in their path towards fulfillment.
I
received my initial training at Teacher's College, Columbia University in New York City where I received a Master of Arts
in Psychological Counseling. After working with severely emotionally disturbed individuals, I relocated to the Los Angeles
area in order to continue my education. I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in the
Santa Barbara area where my research focused upon treating soul in the psychology setting.
I have experience with and
am knowledgeable in the treatment of anxiety, depression, anger management, relaxation techniques, PTSD, ADHD, stress management,
marital dischord, family therapy, end of life issues, grief and loss, life transitions, sexual identity issues, spiritual
issues (relating to life circumstances), body/mind connectedness, and body image difficulties. As a former performer, I am
also sensitive to performance anxiety and barriers to emotional connectedness.
I utilize a sliding scale fee in my
practice, on an as-needed basis, and will also provide a super bill for your PPO insurance should you desire third party reimbursement
for mental health services. I am also currently on the Blue Cross HMO panel as well as Oasis Healthcare. My effort as a
